The Studio
Tattoo Leroux is a private studio in Flagstaff, Arizona, founded and operated by a Registered Nurse with a passion for artistic self-expression. Built on values of inclusivity, individuality, and comfort — we believe everyone deserves a safe, respectful environment to explore their unique identity through body art.
Here, every tattoo is a collaboration. Whether you have a fully formed idea or just a feeling you want to express, we’ll work together to bring your vision to life in a way that’s personal and meaningful. With a strong focus on hygiene, trauma-informed care, and emotional well-being, our goal is to help create not just a beautiful tattoo, but also a positive, empowering experience from start to finish.
Come as you are — your story is welcome here.
The Artist
Laura Franz grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, where she spent her time drawing, painting, crafting, and creating with almost every material she could get her hands on. She attended Arizona State University, following her other passion to become a registered nurse. After almost a decade working in newborn intensive care and post-partum care, it was time for some self-exploration.
During a solo trip to Berlin, Germany in 2021, Laura got her first tattoo from the amazing Ricardo Garcia and fell in love with the medium. Soon she was not only itching for more tattoos but chasing the drive to become a tattoo artist herself. With a lifelong passion for art and a hunger to learn new skills, Laura moved to Bend, Oregon to attend Anchors and Ink Tattoo School.
After passing the Body Art Licensing Exam, she connected with an established Tattoo Artist and mentor, Holly McClintock, and was given the chance to continue her tattooing journey alongside her at Zen Art Ink studios.
Relocating to Flagstaff, Arizona to be with her partner and now husband, Laura worked in healthcare again, drawing on the side until the time felt right to launch her own full-time business. When she’s not helping her clients create beautiful works of body art, she enjoys rock climbing, reading fantasy books, teaching Childbirth classes, and walking her fluffy Collies.
Even in a space where single-use products are a necessity, there are always opportunities to make an impact.
While safety and quality remain our number one priority, we use products that are better for our planet. Ink cups, rinse cups, shaving razors and certain barrier films are 100% biodegradable - reducing plastic use and waste generated by tattoo procedures.
All tattoos are performed using Eternal Ink, which is sterile, Vegan and never tested on animals. And with every payment collected, we have pledged 1% to immediately go towards removing CO2 from the atmosphere.
